I have lived in Kamloops since the 1970’s. I attended schools in Westsyde, Valleyview and graduate in 1987 from Kamloops Senior Secondary. I married my best friend, Kathleen (SD #73 Trustee) 21 years ago and together we have 3 great kids plus 2 black labs.
I have 14.5 years of post secondary education, including a B.Sc. from UCC, Masters studies from SFU in Resource and Environmental Management, plus a Doctor of Chiropractic. I have worked in planning, forestry and now in health care. I have also studied business, economics and conflict resolution/mediation along the way too.
I have been a BC rep and National president of the Student Chiropractic Association, a VP of the Cariboo Student Society and instrumental in getting the TRU Independence centre built. I have also served as a strata board chair for our commercial strata for the past 4 years.
I opened my own business 15 years ago in Aberdeen. I have lived in Brocklehurst for the past 12 years. I love the outdoors, and spend my time when possible gardening, cycling, hiking, exploring, hunting and fishing, or just taking photos.
My parents have always been great role models to me and my siblings. It was my parents, my Scouting leaders, teachers and many others who instilled the value of community and public service. It is why I am a 14+ year Charter Member of The Rotary Club of Kamloops Aurora Centennial. I serve my patients individually and I plan on serving all of our great city as a city councillor.
